Originally established in 1974 as P.P.M (Plumbing & Property Maintenance) in Bellemoor Road, Shirley, we really hit the ground running. Offering a unique service that promised a whole bathroom swap over in just one day! This truly set us apart from our competitors with many wondering how it could be done. How times have changed.

Noticing the increasing need to expand, in 1982 we moved premises to Portswood Road, Swaythling under the name Pipescenes. This charming family run business grew to be a stalwart in the Hampshire County for over 40 years. Starting off predominantly selling plastic pipes and guttering, we soon established a personal connection with the local community. Expanding soon after to offer bathrooms to a thriving customer base, with a goal of becoming a true one stop shop. With a popular DIY store opposite and three competitors being just a stones throw away in the neighbouring industrial estate, we understood the need to stand out. It was then we decided to offer Jacuzzi Hot Tubs and we soon became recognised as “the place with the hot tub on the roof”.

After over 30 successful years in the area, we felt it was the right time for a change and a fresh start, so to speak. In 2016 we made the tough decision to move to a new premises and after much consideration we found the perfect location in a busy area of Eastleigh. Many months of tedious planning followed before a stunning new showroom and trade counter was born under the same name. Showcasing over 35 unique bathroom displays with working showers, smart toilets & Steam showers, which include ranges from leading brands such as Laufen, Roca, Villeroy & Boch , Vado, Crosswater, Matki, Vanity Hall, Utopia and many more. After launching in a new area, this soon created a buzz and a spectacular new customer base followed in addition to the loyal faces who’ve stuck by us over the years previous, it truly was exciting times. 

Fast forward to 2024 and we are proud to introduce Wellness Bathrooms by Pipescenes. A complete rebrand with the same familiar friendly faces. With this comes a range of breathtaking new displays and products as well as an impressive new website that will open up limitless possibilities whilst bringing you closer to us.

We pride ourselves on the services we offer and this has been evident through our many years in the industry and will continue to be a key factor in our development. We offer you a full service from the initial walk around the showroom, to a follow up meeting with one of our designers. We will guide you step by step through the journey in creating your dream bathroom from a CAD design, order process right through to a friendly delivery.
